While West Coast Estates is jumping into the auction technology of the 21st century, it remains a family owned and operated Auction House. Theodore Pappas III along with his family & West Coast Estates currently produce a monthly review newsletter, live monthly Fine Art, Antique & Estate Auctions, specialty Native Art & Artifact Auctions, and a variety of fund-raising and benefit events. 		 

"A Little Family History"
The Pappas Family Name Has Been Synonymous With Auctions In North America for Almost a Century. Almost 90 years ago in 1913 Theodore Pappas I, set sail from Greece to America with $75.00 in His Pocket. Arriving in British Columbia a few years later, he evolved from a shoeshine & water boy during the construction of the Canadian Railway to own and operate one of the first trading posts in Canada. Pappas, who traded with the local native peoples would gather the fur and consign it to New York for auction on the international market. By 1940 he moved to Vancouver BC and established his own International Fur Auction Company, Which exists and operates to this day under directorship of his son, Theodore Pappas II.
