Hi there, my name is Vicky and I love my Ebay Store! I worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years and it will continue until I reach the 30 year mark, then I will retire from nursing and treasure hunt all over the world. I enjoy shopping for treasures and began about 30 years ago.
Shopping on Ebay was done on occasion, I purchased a car, clothing items. jewelry items and many other items since I became a member. I began my Ebay Store adventure in 2007 when a work colleague inherited 100's of modern dolls. She did not know what to do with all the dolls and placed them in two Hugh storage units. Also, there were many different types of collectible curios in the Estate. I offered to sell the dolls and other curios on Ebay. My curio interest increased in many ways. I now collect antique dolls, vintage dolls and old child clothing to dress dolls or bears. I even dabble in doll restoration and learned about reborn dolls.
I am interested in any antique item, collector plates, crystal, kitchen items,jewelry items,books, etc... I expanded my store to include art curio that sparkles to me. I shop for my curios in auctions, thrift stores, estate sales, storage units and antique stores. I collected many curios over the years and I place them in Vickysplace1. I have private clients who want their items sold in my store too.
I believe in helping people, especially less fortunate people. My nursing career helps the Elders and the Disabled to have a quality life free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
I brought a beautiful Jewelry line to my store that I will donate 10% of the profit to Friends of Nepal. I have signed up to provide the money for safe drinking water. Water is needed for quality life of people, even the unborn. The unique jewelry is made in Nepal and from natural gem stones. The craftsmanship is well done. The non-profit's Mission Statement is an affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association. Through its membership and supporters of Friends of Nepal (FON) funds, FON promotes grass-roots projects throughout Nepal. Friends of Nepal was founded in 1980 by a group of returned Peace Corps Volunteers to Nepal. Their projects support local community priorities. Currently, FON work in partnership with Nepalese non-governmental organizations on projects in health care, rural income generation, education, and cultural preservation. Check out the gorgeous pendants, earrings and bracelets. Once these are gone I will add more.
I help people in America too. I believe in helping the local food bank to help the Hungary. I will give money and food to them too. And, if an Ebay donation group catches my interest I will donate as well.
