Back to previous page  Yesterdays Trash is Treasure For Tomorrow Yesterdays Trash is Treasure For Tomorrow I am a "collector", always have, always will...my wife says its a "sickness"..her idea of shopping is Neiman Marcus or Dillards..mine - give me a flea market, thrift shop, yard sale or auction.  If its old, unusual, cheap and I can carry it....look out... its in the car.  My collections have gone from the serious collecting to now what is the "fun" collecting..collect to get rid of it and make a buck.  I am retired and have been for a few years...what a great way to spend time doing something fun and useful ...I am a "search engine" tell me what you are looking for and the challenge is on - - in fact, I am not really just what is boxed up from the years past...its like Christmas all over each time I open a box...and I can relate where it came from. Who say's old men don't and can't have fun!!!! About "ME" Personally..I am a "Gemini"...that sets the stage in itself.  I am a native of Va and now living in Manchester, Tennessee..retired Military.  I am a member of the Train Collectors Assn, Lionel Collectors club, VFW, American Legion, AARP, Moose, and many other organizations.  My hobbies are/have been - Antique automobiles, toys, toy trains, coins, stamps, tropical fish, (of course EBAY)  movies, Piano, crossword puzzles, classical music,  amateur radio, and live theater to mention a few..I am past President of our  Chamber of Commerce, held office in the local AARP, Homeowners Assn, local amateur Theater group.  I hold a BS and did a year of graduate study before calling it quits..I have 3 children - one a Retired LtCol in the Army, one a PhD and one an Electronics Engineer...so, I was successful in that field of children. I am married and have been for 45+ years to the same person.
