SHIPPING: Continental US Shipping Only

Our rates apply to the Continental US only. Shipping outside the Continental US is also available. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada there is an added charge. Call or email for details.

Shipping for our accessories and smaller home decor items are shipped FedEx Ground unless otherwise noted. Items shipped directly from our manufacturers may use a different carrier. Please call for more information.


SHIPPING: Appliques and Accessories

• All small items are shipped via FedEx ground unless otherwise noted or notified.
• Combined shipped is available for these types of auctions. Combined shipping costs may vary and are noted on each auction.
• Additional Shipping Charges on Appliques are $1.00 each additional item. These Additional Shipping Charges DO NOT apply to furniture, One of a Kind, Large Items, lighting, accessories or any other non-applique item.
• Additional Shipping Charges on Accessories vary according to each item and apply to that auction ONLY. Please see auction listing for more details.

SHIPPING: Large Items, Bella Furniture & One-of-A-Kinds

• LEVEL A SHIPPING - $199 for ONE PIECE: Two man deliveries to any home or office in the continental US, Threshold Delivery. (Does not include Inside Placement, unpacking, debris removal or assembly.) (Additional pieces will have additional costs.)
• LEVEL B SHIPPING - $250 for ONE PIECE: Two man delivery to any home or office in the continental US, Inside Placement, Unpacking and Debris Removal (does not inclue assembly.) (Additional pieces will have additional costs.)
• Added to shipping costs, is additional insurance coverage. It is calculated as follows:
  Amount declared x $1.85 per $100 of value.

• All LARGE, Furniture and One of a Kind items have individual shipping costs as listed on each auction and apply to that auction only.
• We ship blanket wrap, unless otherwise specified and arranged by you. You have the option of using your preferred shipping company.
• We ship to both residential and business, but residential deliveries may result in additional charges.
• We are not responsible for miscommunication between freight carrier and consignee (recipient).
• Please inspect your furniture thoroughly immediately upon receiving them and note any damage incurred to the driver.
• Prior to purchasing, please ask questions before committing to your order! We want you to be confident and happy with your purchase!
• Delivery discrepancies, damages, and freight charges are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier once the merchandise has been accepted and left our facilities.
• All prices are subject to change without notice.
• All dimensions are approximate to within one inch.
• PICK UP from our location is available with no additional charge. Item MUST be in stock. Some items are not exclusively made by The Bella Cottage --please call prior to pick-up to verify.
• If your piece incurs damages during transit, the freight company will be responsible for having the piece repaired and returned to the manufacturer's standards at their own expense. Your item will be sent to a furniture medic or back to the manufacturer for repairs.

DAMAGES & CLAIMS FOR LARGE ITEM ORDERS: Furniture, Custom Orders & One-of-A-Kinds
For Furniture: If your piece incurrs damages during transit, the freight company will be responsible for having the piece repaired and returned to the manufacturer's standards at their own expense. Your item will be sent to a furniture medic.

• For Fedex, UPS, DHL, USPS: If packaged item is dented, opened, punctured, or looks as if damages may have occurred during transit, please examine in the presence of the driver.
• For Blanket Wrap Delivery: All damages must be noted on freight bill at the time of delivery and taken up with the carrier immediately. DO NOT SIGN bill until items have been inspected!
• After item has been accepted by customer, we no longer assume responsibility for the item.
• Damages sustained in transit are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.
• Our furniture, One-of-a-kind and vintage pieces are inspected prior to shipping and is accepted by the carrier in good condition.
• Once carrier has accepted freight, our responsibility ends.
• No returns will be accepted for any of our one-of-a-kind items or custom orders.

DAMAGES & CLAIMS FOR SMALLER ITEMS & PACKAGES

• Damages sustained in transit are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.
• If packaged item is dented, opened, punctured, or looks as if damages may have occurred during transit, please examine in the presence of the driver.
• All damages must be noted and taken up with the carrier immediately.
• Notate any visibly damaged and keep all packing materials.
• A claim will have to be filed with the shipping company.
• After item has been accepted by customer, we no longer assume responsibility for the item.
• We do not accept responsibility for damaged or lost items during transit.

Measuring for Furniture
It is very important to measure correctly and carefully when ordering furniture from The Bella Cottage! The measurements are listed for our furniture items but please take into consideration the dimensions for doorways, entryways and spaces with banisters or corners. Take into account any obstructions that may hinder you from getting your furniture into place!

Delivery Times
We make every effort to get our items to you on time. Items that we have in stock will ship out within 2 business days unless otherwise noted. However other items are shipped from our artists and may take 2-3 weeks for delivery if the item is custom & handmade. Please note that our shipping dates are estimated and cannot be guaranteed. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control which require longer production times. If this is the case, you will be notified promptly.

For our furniture items, extra time must be considered for our manufactured items (4-6 weeks).
For our One of a Kind items, it may take up to 1-2 weeks to arrange shipping with our carriers and another 2-3 for our shippers to arrange delivery.

Backorders
If an item you order is backordered, please note that a new shipment is expected soon and your order will ship immediately. You will receive a notice for the expected date of delivery. If you do not want to wait until the due date, you may cancel the order and your card not be charged.

Return Policy
For the following items: Bella/Custom Furniture, One-of-A-Kinds, Bella Finds, Bedding, Cut Yardage & Clearance Items, we do not accept returns. Because these items are either vintage, one of a kind or made to order, they do not qualify for returns. If you are uncertain if an item is vintage or custom made, please call to verify. When your item is shipped to you, please inspect them carefully and report any damages incurred during shipment directly to the shipper and contact us immediately. A claim will have to be filed with the shipping company. We do not take responsibility for damaged or lost items. Please contact us prior to ordering to ensure that you are happy with your order.
