How It All Started . . . |
My interest in cars and motorcycles started at the age of seventeen when I test-drove my first used Triumph roadster. After that, I went on to establish part and book trading partners, attended car meets and became a member of various car and motorcycle clubs. My tried-and-true contacts and my appreciation of classic cars & motorcycles helped me to turn the idea of SevenSteelStreet into a reality...
I believe my long relationships with first-rate and trusted booksellers enable me to get great books and manuals at very fair prices.
Besides my involvement with SevenSteelStreet, I am an avid open-water swimmer -- I have recently resurrected my distance- swimming career by escaping from Alcatraz Island twice (2004, 2006). In 2008, I was one of nineteen swimmers to complete an 8.2 mile swim around Pennock Island in Alaska. To close on this topic, I hope to travel the world to seek other swimming marathon adventures...
