I run a small full service brick and mortar local yarn shop which is the only one in Southeast Ohio. This is a very beautiful, but impoverished region. It is one of the few places in the USA where fewer people are living, than lived here at the turn of the century. It is considered part of Appalachia.

About me - I'm a former Molecular Biologist who had a hobby of doing Renaissance Faires. I've lived in Canada, Sweden and England and traveled in Europe and Morocco. I founded and ran the Living History Village/"The Local Yocals" at the Arizona Renaissance Festival for 7 years. I'm a Fiber Fiend, and a jack of all trades (master of none :) ) Who decided to run a yarn shop and quickly found out that around here, you do it for love, not $. I've had a yarn shop since 1999.
