server. This guarantee covers a maximum liability of £50.00. In the event
of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your
card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Requesting your landline number
When you create and account at pricekind.co.uk, we will request
your landline number primarily for security reasons. This number should be
the one associated with your credit card billing or bank statement
address.
In addition you can also enter your mobile number or landline number of
the delivery address unless it is the same. In the event that we encounter
issues regarding payment details or delivery addresses, we will contact
you on this number to qualify the situation.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) / CHAPS / SWIFTBIC / IBAN Telegraphic Transfer
Standard UK bank transfers take 3-4 working days to credit our account.
Most UK banks also offer CHAPS payment or similar express payment service for an additional fee. These types of payments are normally are received by 6pm the same day if they have been instructed before your bank’s cut-off time.
SWIFTBIC / IBAN transfer payments are from customers outside UK and normally take 5-7 working days.
Our bank details will be provided by e-mail once you have completed checkout indicating your chosen payment method.
Cash on collection
We accept cash payments up to £10,000.00 GBP Sterling from customers who wish to collect their orders from our office by prior appointment. Your contact details will have been verified in advance. We may also request that you bring 2 forms of ID with you. Cash payments can only be accepted between 10pm and 4pm Monday to Friday at our local bank branch. This ensures security for yourself and our staff.
Delivery
Orders are normally despatched same day if payment is received
by 4pm Monday to Friday. Orders received after 4pm or at weekends are
processed the next working day.
Postage and packaging charges reflect the total package weight, size,
value of individual items and your chosen delivery service at checkout.
The delivery services we offer include 2 day, next day and next day
guaranteed, all fully insured. We use Royal Mail, Interlink, UPS and
FedEx and tracking numbers are provided.
Collection
Collection can be arranged by prior appointment only. We would
request that prior payment be made by cheque or bank transfer.
Alternatively, you can pay by cash. We will need to verify your
contact details and request that you bring 2 forms of original ID.
Returns, Refunds & Warranty
We guarantee that you will be happy with your
purchase. However, on the rare occasion you might need to return goods
to us. Please contact us to arrange return of faulty and non-faulty
goods.
Unless stated otherwise, all new products come with 12 months
manufacturers warranty and all used products come with 30 days warranty.
Goods Reported Faulty Within 14 Days of Receipt
If you are reporting faulty goods within 14 days of receipt, we’ll
issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. This will
be initiated when the goods are returned to us complete.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to
us within 48 hours. If goods are visibly damaged from the outside you
can either:
Refuse acceptance of the goods and they will automatically be returned
to us
Mark the delivery consignment note as “damaged”
If you are unsure of the condition of the goods sign the delivery
consignment note “unchecked”
It is important that you fully inspect the goods at the time of
delivery. If you do not state any visible damage on the delivery
consignment note, you have then accepted the delivery to your
satisfaction and you will be held responsible for any damage reported
after the delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights as a
consumer.
If after opening the packaging you find the goods to be damaged call us
immediately by telephone or e-mail quoting:
1. Your name and order number
2. The items that are damaged
3. Details of the damaged
You will be contacted by a member of staff from pricekind.co.uk who will
outline the requirements for returning goods damaged during transit. You
will be asked to:
Repackage the goods securely (in the original packaging)
Return items within seven days, in the original carton/boxes and in
adequate packaging to ensure the goods are not further damaged in
transit.
We recommend using an insured and trackable service such as Royal Mail
special delivery or other courier, as we cannot be responsible for goods
lost in transit to us. You are initially responsible for the cost of
returning the item(s) to us, although where the goods are found to be
faulty or damaged on delivery to you, we will refund reasonable costs of
postage incurred.
We will attempt to replace the goods or refund the order value within
seven days via your original payment method.. We reserve the right to
refuse goods returned to us where the above policy for returning goods
damaged during delivery has not been followed. Returning an item without
adhering to the above policy may result in you not receiving a refund of
your order value.
Goods Reported Faulty More Than 14 Days After Receipt
If you are reporting faulty goods more than 14 days after receipt, then
recommend that you contact the manufacturer direct for a warranty
repair. This is often the quickest way to have a fault repaired. For
example in some cases, manufacturers provide a special full on-site
service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience.
For used goods and goods that do not conform to the contract, you can
contact us direct.
How long will a warranty repair take?
When we accept the return of a product for repair, we'll organise for
the product to be sent back to the relevant manufacturer or repair
centre. Note that we do not have an 'in house' repair service.
Due to the process and logistics involved, it may take up to 6 weeks for
a product to be received by us, sent to the relevant manufacturer for
repair, returned to us and then finally sent back to the customer,
however the average time is 4 weeks.
We will of course always be happy to handle the repair on behalf of a
customer, but remember for warranty repair we are only the 'postman' and
it's worth noting that your problem can often be resolved much more
quickly by dealing with the manufacturer directly.
In some cases, manufacturers provide an additional full on-site service
and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience which of course,
we recommend you utilise in order to correct the fault quickly.
We recommend trying this approach first. If you do deal with the
manufacturer directly it will not affect your legal rights.
If You Have Changed Your Mind / Distance Selling Regulations
If you have changed your mind and you are a private customer (not
applicable to business customers), and the goods have not been in your
possession for over 14 days, then you are entitled to return the goods
to us for a full refund on condition that you take reasonable care of
the goods until they are returned to us. In particular this means that
you will:
not open shrink-wrapped or blister pack products or break any
manufacturer's seals
not load software onto any PC or laptop
return in good condition all packaging, manuals, cables etc
return the goods in a condition that would enable us to resell them as
new
Please note that the cost of returning these items is the responsibility
of the customer.
Also, if decide to collect your order, you are not eligible for refund
or exchange if you change your mind
Warranty exclusions
The following parts are excluded from the warranty: displays,
attenuators, travelling wave tubes, YIG oscillators, tape heads and
transport mechanisms, backward wave oscillators, cesium and rubidium
tubes, software, RF power elements, cases, microphones, lightwave and
optical components, catalytic converters, photo multiplier tubes,
probes, transducers and thermionic valves. Further failures arising
directly from the failure of any of these excluded parts are also
excluded from the warranty.
Return of Faulty Goods: Packaging Guidelines
Please note that it is in the interest of all parties to ensure that any
faulty goods being returned to us are sufficiently packaged to protect
against loss and/or damage during carriage, handling and/or sorting.
Where therefore you intend to return any faulty goods, then we strongly
recommend that you return those goods in their original packaging
(assuming that the original packaging is not damaged).
Where it is not possible to use the original packaging, then please
ensure that the goods to be returned are sufficiently packaged and
cushioned to provide protection against any reasonably predictable
shocks, puncturing, scratching and/or damage that may occur during
carriage, handling and/or sorting.
Where we have agreed to collect the goods from you, then our appointed
carrier shall be entitled to inspect the quantity, condition and
adequacy of the packaging, but it should be noted that it is your
responsibility to ensure that sufficient packaging is used to protect
the returned goods as stated.
In the event that we reasonably considers that the goods are damaged
during carriage, handling and/or sorting due to insufficient or improper
protective packaging by you, then we shall not be liable for any loss
and/or damage to those goods and shall be entitled to reject any goods
that do not meet the criteria laid out above. If we have cause to reject
any goods, then we shall return those goods to you.

Direct Delivery by our staff
We could arrange for a member of staff to deliver direct to you. In the past, we have delivered direct to customers in France, Germany and Hong Kong. This service is ideal for:
1. Large and high value products that may be too costly to deliver using couriers. It may be safer and cost less if we carry goods in our van and take ferry from UK.
2. Small and expensive products that can be too costly to insure with couriers. It may be safer and cost less if we take the plane and carry goods in hand luggage.
