A Civil War relic collector and dealer who sells out of the Antique Center of Gettysburg and on line. I am a teacher by profession, but I love antiques, particularly Civil War relics. I have been studying the Civil War since I was a kid and I have been collecting relics since the late 1970s. I have always loved items with great provenance - identified to a particular site (the more detailed the better!) and a particular collection when possible. I try to offer only items with strong provenance in my E-bay sales and often provide the winning bidder with a signed letter noting the provenance (if I know it) and with any extras, like copies of catalogue pages or auction lists, that further relate to the relic. My main collecting interest has always been Gettysburg items, but I am beginning to sell some of those items to make room for my new collecting interest - relics associated with the Battle of Antietam. Watch for items from my collection, including items I dug myself, in my auctions! Just as I have always appreciated a nice relic with great provenance, I hope to provide the same to other Civil War collectors on E-Bay!!
