My Honey Built this deck on the back of our home.

I love "PINK" clothes, flowers, fabrics, shoes, boots, etc.... You get the picture. I also love vintage clothing from the early 1800's to the 1980's. Silk, leather, cotton, and rayon are some of my favorite fabrics. If it needs to be ironed that isn't a problem for me. I learned to iron at a young age and will use my sleeve board and the hams to press the delicate areas or fine fabrics. I like to add my own embellishments to clothing. Buttons, lace, sequins and other decorations are fine with me. I have a denim blouse that I bought on eBay that has 100 year old black glass buttons sewn on it instead if the originals. Also the back of it has a big oval lace inset that was taken fro a destroyed wedding dress. Sometimes I buy items of clothing just because I like the buttons or other findings. Platinum is one of my favorite '80's designers for her wonderful fabrics and buttons. Our home was finished in 1915, so I am trying to include styles and colors that the original owners might have used. We have updated the appliances and other necessities. Some of my friends think our house is a museum, but I just like to display and admire the pretty clothes and other pieces that we enjoy.

I like to do goofy things once in a while. Here I am at a friend's art show. he's the artist and I'm just being normal, for a Saturday afternoon.
