I have always been interested in collecting things of the past from bringing things home when I went to visit my Grandmother, the kerosene lamp or the bowl and pitcher. I find that using these items to decorate my home and having a story to tell about each item interesting. Then comes a time that I have tired of or have to much, so I started reselling years ago. I have a spot in an antique store and work there to pay for my rent. I over the years have collected kitchen items, cookbooks, angels, Wallace Nutting prints just to name a few items. My daughters have had shops and I too after retiring had one.
Then my children started having computers, so I too had to have one. My daughter was selling on eBay and showed me how to do this. I needed a source of income to subsidize social security and now have it. I will not sell things on eBay that are not in good condition, the way I would want if I would buy. I send as soon as an item is paid for unless weather or working prevents me from doing so. My children have asked that I started cleaning out, so they won't have so much later.
I have been a widow for 30 years, I do have 5 wonderful children they have gifted me with 6 Grandchildren and now I have 2 great Grandchildren and I find you can't have to many.
I grew up on a farm near the town where I live which my brother now owns and the whole family enjoys. They hunt, 4 wheel, snow mobile, target practice and we all walk there.
I have belonged to my church for over 50 years and have served several positions there as a trustee and an usher. I love my GOD, my church family and my pastor.
Thanks for reading about me and I hope that you will find some thing in my listings you can't live with-out.
