My name is Lee Torgerson. I live in Salina, Utah. I am a retired letter carrier. I grew up here in Salina, Utah helping my dad farm. I am a Proud Veteran. I am a self taught artist, never had any training of any kind. I have done alot of different things over the years from carving to etching in rock. Now I have come up with painting on old cans, bucket lids, and now canvas, or whatever I think might work. I decided to call it Redneck Canvas. As far as I know, I am the only one doing anything like it. I never know what I am going to do. I look at a can or lid and it shows me what it wants to be. They must have a rust spirit that I feel and see.
