My name is Werner Ivo. I was born in 1960 in the Netherlands and after a 2 years stay in Holland my family moved to Germany for about 8 years.

We also lived in Brussel (Belgium). I  have the german nationality, ( mother is dutch, father is german) and I enjoy being back in Holland when I was about 12 years old. Me and my family also made a very interesting trip through the USA for about a half year just before we all settled down in the Netherlands again.

My interest in antique tin toys started, I would almost say at birth. My parents moved around several years and like them the children, me, my younger sister & my brother developped 'sharp eyes' for quality of ancient history.

Becoming an adult I started to collect antique tin toys & other child related tin advertisement items.

Somewhere in the 90'th I decided to buy & sell antique's as a professional.

In the towncenter of Amsterdam I have a shop with antique toys & tins in the Antique center 'de Looier', Elandsgracht 109, Amsterdam. This antique center is open every day, except friday, from 11.00 - 17.00. If you want to be sure to meet me there, an appointment is preferred.

My hobby's are: sports, playing chess and swimming,documentary films, the news and politics.

Foreign languages have my special interest, it helps me on my way of specialising myself in the wonderful world of ancient things & all other beautiful things in life.

I speak dutch, behersche die Deutsche Sprache, I do speak english & I am learning to speak the french language also; recently I realized that when we lived in Brusselles, some 40 yeras ago, I spoke 'la langue francais' pretty well.
