So here is the story:

Within a month after moving into our Arizona home, which had been vacant for over 2 years, my daughter in law and I had an encounter. One day I walked past my grandchildren's playroom and I was startled to see a young girl, about 2 or 3, with brown hair, sitting on the floor playing with one of the toys. I walked past the room and quickly returned and the girl was gone. Fearing my family would think I had gone crazy, I told no one about the encounter.

A week or so later, my daughter in law stood in the same spot in the hallway and called out, "Help!!! Did anyone see that?!"

She said that she had seen a mist in the hall.

Not long after that I was home alone and at my computer when I heard a child's giggle and footsteps running down the hall. I finally told my husband, and as I'd feared, he declared that I was crazy.

A few weeks later my husband had his own encounter and now he is a believer, too.

After all of this we met a neighbor who dropped by to greet us. When he entered the house, he looked around and said, "Boy, you sure have done this place up nice." I asked if he'd known the previous owner's and he said yes. I then asked if they had a little girl?

"Yes." He said.

"About 2 or 3 years old?" I asked.

"Uh-yes."

"Long brown hair?"

"Yeah."

"And she died?"

"Yeah. Well she didn't die here. Her grandparents lived here and she was over here alot. Her mom went out drinkin' one night and left the girl with her boyfriend. The boyfriend got mad at her and shook her and her head hit the wall and she died. He's in state prison now, doing a life sentence. The mom was sentenced to 7 years. The grandparents couldn't take it and they moved away."

It's a horrible story, but the little girl is still here. No, I won't try to sell her, or the toy she was playing with when I first saw her. I'm just sharing the story out of curiosity.

She seems to enjoy still playing at Grandmom's House, and we've gotten quite used to her now.
