My policy as an e-Bay seller:
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL AUCTION TERMS BEFORE BIDDING!
(1) Make sure you read and understand all auction terms before placing a bid! I can't stress this enough, because many bidders still don't seem to understand. Once you place a bid, you are accepting the terms, and are obligated to follow them. I have had several instances where someone has placed a bid, won the item, then decides he/she wants to conduct the auction their own way. If you do not like my terms, or don't want to follow them, then don't bid.
(2) Please ask any and all questions BEFORE bidding. I will reply as soon as possible to all of them. I try to be honest in all item descriptions, but all items are sold "AS IS". No guarantees are given or implied, unless specifically mentioned in the item description.
(3) Ebay now forces sellers to accept PayPal, although I would prefer a money order or check. But please note, the only items that get shipped ASAP are those paid with a U.S. Post Office money order; all others must wait 7 days to clear. That includes money orders from Travelers Express, Wal-Mart, Western Union, 7-11, Bank of America, your local food store, etc. The only things my bank will clear right away are money orders from the post office. So if they won't clear it immediately, neither will I.
(4) VERY IMPORTANT - I ask you to please be patient. I conduct all my eBay business only 1 day a week (usually Friday). However, I do check my email daily.
(5) Please remember to include the eBay item number with your payment, and also with all correspondence. This will make it much easier for me to keep track of your item.
(6) INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE E-MAIL FIRST! I am happy to sell to bidders in other countries, but foreign shipping is more expensive than domestic U.S. shipping, especially on larger and heavier items. I want you to know what the approximate shipping charge will be BEFORE you bid. All international purchases must be made in US funds.
(7) Unless specifically included in the item description, additional options such as Certified Mail, insurance, etc., are the responsibility of the buyer.
Although I pack items as safely as possible, I am not responsible for items lost or damaged through the mail. Once I turn the item over to the Post Office, I have no control over it. And without insurance, the post office will only be responsible for the postage.
(8) Payment must be received within 14 days of the auction's end. Please no stories, no excuses. I will e-mail the buyer when payment is received and again when the item is shipped. If payment is not received in 14 days, I will leave negative feedback.
