We specialize in objects of vertu which are small items of luxury  from the 18th & 19th century . Also known as bibelots or objects de vitrine, these collections can be quite diverse .  Snuff boxes, wax seals, chatelaines, scent bottles, cane handles, traveling dressing sets, sewing boxes, patch boxes, traveling knife & fork, enamelled  boxes, tortoiseshell porte monnaie, carnet de bal, porte montre, tea caddies, visiting card cases, necessaire, bodkin and needle cases. Materials could be ivory, gold, sterling, enamel, opaline, tortoiseshell..whatever was the grandest. Some of these were bought as souvenires of the Grand Tour.  The creme de la creme of all collections would be made by Faberge. Miniature vitrines were elaborately made to house one"s fine treasures and we buy everyone we can find, no matter the price. If it's difficult to find, it makes the search far more exciting!

We also sell boxes..tortoiseshell, ivory, mother of pearl, opaline, cut glass, enamelled, sterling, and opera glasses are all so wonderful too.  Porcelain tureens, Paris urns, Silver meat domes, vanity sets, cabinet plates....whatever makesup a grand collection or decorates your or your client's surroundings.  And, whenever we have time we make custom miniature Christmas trees that are spectacular.

We do our best to cover the world to find the best antiques at the best price.  We know our antiques, but are new to packing and shipping internationally. We have given up our "bricks and morter" and now we offer everything on line. We are honest and extremely trustworthy, and we enjoy our clients as friends.  Most of the time our inventory is very sophisicated and investment quality, however, if we buy some antiques "cheap & cheerful" with a good look we will offer those to you as well.  Good breeding doesn't make us "snooty".
