I OFTEN pull Detailed Star Ratings reports to see when I receive low stars in my feedback, however, I am unable to help any buyer who decides to give 4 stars or below, as the deed has already been done at that point.  If you're not happy with anything and feel you cannot give me 5 stars PLEASE contact me, I am here to help... I am a business seller and want repeat custom and it's frustrating that I am unable to help my buyers.....AFTER  they have left me low stars.

If for some reason you find you cannot bid on my items ..it may be a number of reasons as well as if you have left me a positive and then left LOW stars I may also have blocked you from bidding....it is only courteous to allow me to resolve any problems you may have before leaving low star ratings & feedback. 

In ebays own words 'Always educate your buyer that DSR of 4 and less is a poor rating'.  ebays own words.

If you receive your item and you are not happy with it, please contact me immediately and I will do my utmost to resolve any queries you may have.  I do have a return policy on all my items too, so my buyers NEVER need to be dissatisfied with my customer service.

Please read before bidding or buying...ask questions before bidding.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

If you win more than one item from me please do not send payment electronically until i have invoiced you.  My invoice will show a COMBINED postage and packing rate where appropriate which may save you money. 

 PAYPAL....some buyers  pay with eCheques ...paypal do send an email to let me  know you have paid using one of these and it says it will only take 4 days to clear into my paypal account from yours.. this is incorrect in most cases. it actually takes up to 11 days to get into my paypal account , i will email you when your payment has cleared into my paypal account .. then your item will be sent. ... ...im sure most buyers are unaware of this. ..this delay is out of my control so please DONT leave me bad feedback for this delay . there are NO delays with normal paypal payments. where possible i send items the very NEXT WORKING DAY ...all items that are paid for using paypal are sent using a trackable service.

UK BUYERS

UK Buyers:- I accept CHEQUES in UK Sterling, Postal Orders, Paypal , BACS – Bank Wire Transfer or Cash on Collection.  

Special Delivery is INSURED post.. I use this for most of the items I sell. it insures items up to £500 and further insurance can be obtained up to £2500.

  Recorded delivery is NOT insured post ..it merely lets me know you have got your item . it is a trackable service and thats ALL it is. it does have a value up to £36 but does not include coins,  money , valuables , jewellery etc.... the type of item i usually sell. on low value items i will put it as an option on the listing but if the item sells for more than £36 i strongly recommend that when you pay me electronically after the auction has finished you take out the Special delivery option instead.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS 

INTERNATIONAL Buyers:- I will accept Paypal  or bank wire transfer (IBAN).  

All overseas shipping has insurance ... International Signed For service in it..so no extra to pay.

 OVERSEAS BUYERS...POLITE NOTICE.....Please dont ask me to send items uninsured after you have bid and won the item...this insurance is for my benifit ..so I am covered by paypal seller protection policy ...in the event of an item being lost or stolen whilst in the postal services...you get your money back instantly from paypal ..I get sweet NAFF ALL ! ..when i do a claim to the mail services ..they will not pay out as they will argue the point the item should have been sent insured ... so if you dont agree to my terms please dont bid.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

 I accept returns within 7 days after you have received the item. So there is never any need to leave negative feedback. If you are not happy with your purchase please email me to return it. Item to be returned via signed for method and in its original state.  Item must be returned in the original packaging.   

• If returning an item that you can confirm has been grossly miss-described, you will be refunded the return postage costs as well as the original invoice cost. 

• If returning the item because you have changed your mind about buying it and there is no error in the description, only the winning bid amount will be refunded.

 Please note the items I sell are antique or vintage and as such have been around for many years, they will show signs of use and whilst I will describe condition to the best of my ability, everyone has a different idea of condition.  Please study my photo's  and ask any questions before bidding.

Pocket Watches & Wristwatches .... I buy these from live auctions... and most are from deceased estates.. they may never  have been wound or used for years and I would strongly recommend a SERVICE on all that I sell when you have won it... even if it is just to oil the movement....NON are timed and I dont have time to keep time on them ..I buy them and sell them... some pocket watches may never have kept time when they were new so please dont expect them to do so now. ...if your looking for a mint example you need to be buying a brand new watch not an antique or vintage example.

EBAY ... My thoughts... afew sellers I know no longer sell on ebay for a number of reasons ... this  has alot to do with the recent changes on ebay ..some I dare say are for the best ...but quite often I've noticed ebay change things that dont need changing .

Geographical listings ... I know this when it comes to the end of days invoice... buyers will be from the same counties or countries... surely when we list an item it should be seen by ALL counties and countries... some days I sell items to Cornwall ..week later it will be Scotland.

Feedback... this is one of the most annoying recent changes ebay have done...it is totally unfair to the seller. ....A Quote from an EX EBAY seller I know... I have stopped selling on eBay  -  last lot of stuff I had on (11 items), 10 sold, only 4 were paid for  -  when I emailed eBay they just said file a non payment complaint and they would issue the bidders with a strike  -  end of story!!! Could I leave negative feedback  -  NO , but the non-paying high bidders can!!!!!!!! What sort of a system is that?? .
