Dan Dudley and Associates Electrical Training Services Dan and Maria Lucil Dudley Providing electrical training services to electricians for Electrical Exam Preparation, Continuing Education for License Renewal, Department of Transportation- Liquid and Gas Pipeline Operator Qualification Testing and Performance Evaluations for the past 11 years. We provide the NEER (National Electrical Exam Review) computer based exam preparation software (our product) as well as the very BEST tabbed and hilighted NEC (National Electrical Code) for taking any electrical exam. We also have several practice exams as well as specialized software for Voltage Drop calculations, resistance and resistor calculations and decoding, Specialized on-line calculators, and other aids for electricians. Dan Dudley has over 20 years of electrical installation and construction experience. He is a third generation electrician; His grandfather (Albert Dudley) was a lineman in the 20's and 30's stringing transmission lines across Death Valley, finally becoming an inside electrician and working for over 50 years in mainly industrial environments. Dan's father (J.R. "John Ray" Dudley) worked heavy industrial, powerhouses, and heavy commercial for 32 years. Dan has had a well rounded career working in commercial, industrial, transmission, distribution, residential, and shipboard electrical environments. Working his way up from helper, to apprentice, to journeyman (licensed), to estimator, to foreman, to Master (licensed) and finally to electrical code instructor. Currently Dan is the Craft Training Director for the Construction Workforce Training Center in Odessa, Texas; where he is also the Lead Electrical Apprenticeship program instructor (a four year US Department of Labor approved apprenticeship program). He is also the instructor for the State of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Utah, Montana, Minnesota, South Dakota, Alaska, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Oregon, Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, and Washington continuing education classes that are approved for electrical license renewal. Dan holds several certifications and three current electrical licenses: Texas Master Electrician #18163, Oklahoma Unlimited Journeyman License #104898, and New Mexico Journeyman Lineman EL-1J #362746. He is also certified by NCCER (the National Center for Construction Education and Research) as a Master Trainer (Instructor Trainer), Assessment Administrator (to gove NCCER assesements), Electrical Instructor, Pipeline Instrumentation and Electrical Instructor, Project Management Instructor, Project Supervision Instructor, and is certified as a Commercial Electrician, an Industrial Electrician, and an Instrument Technician. He is also the instructor for two electrical safety classes that he designed: Qualified Electrical Worker and Electrical Qualified Person which meet the OSHA requirements for Qualified Electrical Worker. Recently he attended a course that qualified him to work with up to 2 million volts. Following this training he has put together training that satisfies OSHA's new Qualified Electrical Worker and Electrical Qualified Person requirements. Several times a year beginning in January of each year; Dan teaches a two day (18 hour) electrical exam prep course to help residential, maintenance, journeyman and master electricians prepare for the electrical exams. This class targets the Texas State exam heavily when in Texas, and the surrounding state exams when in Oklahoma and New Mexico; however it also follows most of the standardized exams across the country (NAI, EXPERIOR(now Thompson Prometric), PSI, BLOCK, ICC (previously SBCCI). Dan is also the programmer and designer of the software we sell such as the NEER exam preparation software. Dan enjoys teaching and has a passion for safety and "DOING THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME".
