Congratulations, you've found us! Intentionally or not!
If you are a geocacher, these are familiar words. If not, we encourage you to join us in this exciting new hobby that involves using billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware in the woods.
We celebrate the fun of geocaching with quality items suitable as gifts. Watch our auctions for unique creations designed by us, as well as items we've found that caught our attention.
We have been eBay sellers for over eight years and powersellers under the dadsdumbbrains ID for most of that time. We have now added geocaching supplies and eGeocache-original apparel to our eBay store.
We are Florida geocachers, but started this adventure in Virginia in March of 2005 when we found "Wanderingdragon's Huntley Meadows Cache" using only the on-line logs. We didn't have a GPSr then. But we were hooked! Since then we have geocached from Florida, North to Ontario and West to Seattle. Every cache is unique, as is every locale. We've encountered caches as small as a pencil eraser and as large as a suitcase. And don't get us started on travel bugs! (Note to self: Do not place full-size toilet seat TB into carry-on.) We've learned how to spot an SPSM (Suspicious Pile of Spanish Moss) in Florida, and an OAGR (Odd Arrangement of Granite Rocks) in Ontario. We've wandered amid the wild boar and alligators of the South, and the rattlesnakes and bears of the North. We've worn Bear-Bells and wished for a shotgun and a machete. Honestly, the scariest animal we ever came across was a cow. Being city folk, we huddled in terror and inched forward to the next find. Right about then, we wished we were seeking a micro under a lamppost skirt at the local 7-11!
If you have a favorite geocaching story to tell, send us an email. We'd love to hear from you!
