Who is Cookinglaughinggirl?

Well, she is a grown woman who still thinks of herself as a kid. She has always had a flair for quality. She likes beautiful and useful things and is keen on finding old and new things for her customers and prospective customers on eBay. Her eBay business started with some Corning Ware items that sold well during the holiday season of 2003. She has at this time numerous Corning Ware items that a gentle nudge from a prospective buyer could trigger a listing. (Just ask if she has the item you are looking for.) Nowadays besides the household items, if she finds designer accessories, she is willing to offer them on eBay.-------------------------------------------- She takes great care to describe in detail the items that she has for sale and takes many photographs to that effect. She knows the customer cannot handle the merchandise and she tries to reveal as much of the details as she sees and knows of the item. Several customers have commented that the item was better than described. Also she usually ships as soon as payment is received. She double boxes all breakables for additional protection. This involves hard work to find suitable boxes for the item's size, raises the shipment's weight and requires more packaging supplies. Most of the time she recycles used boxes but this does not mean that she has no expense to procure boxes. Gas is expensive and so is time. When she lists an item, she will estimate the weight for shipping calculations and a small fee of $1 usually helps cover shipping supplies and also contributes towards fees on PayPal. With eBay fees rising all the time her auctions now have to start at higher prices.------------------------------------------------------- She used to leave positive feedback for customers as soon as item was paid for. She felt the customer who had paid for an item need not go through hoops such as giving her feedback in order to receive feedback. However, since the eBay policy is that no customer can get a negative feedback, she will now wait for feedback before she leaves feedback as customers have not been leaving feedback probably due to the new policy. --------------------------------------------------------- For a couple of years the net proceeds of her business went to her favorite charity but starting in 2007, they will have to be divided equally, half earmarked for her son's college bills.
