It started in 1967 when I was living in Israel as a Six-Day War Volunteer. By 1970, I knew it had become a serious interest. By 1972 it had become an obsession. I had a full-time job as a medical journalist for a large newspaper syndicate. And by 1975 I had so many duplicate coins that I formed AMPHORA. In 1976 my GUIDE TO ANCIENT JEWISH COINS was first published. Today that book is called GUIDE TO BIBLICAL COINS and it is in its FOURTH edition, having sold more than 12,000 copies. At the newspaper syndicate I was tricked into top management, where I remained until being downsized in 1993, when I was senior vice president of syndication and president of our publising group. I became an independent literary agent, which continues until now, but I have cut back to very few clients and do not accept new projects. I work mainly on research on ancient Jewish and Biblical coins.

Biblical, Judaean, Roman Provincial Coins
Biblical coins, Judaean coins, Roman Provincial coins, Roman and Roman Provincial medallions are our special areas of interest and expertise. However, we handle lots of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Medieval coins as well. My column has been running in The Celator every month for the past 15 years or so.
