A Doll Doctor in Cincinnati, OhioI am a very successful Doll Doctor in Cincinnati, OHIO. I was trained by the best in the business, G & M Doll Seminars and Stevia Webster. I had always wanted to work as an art restoratist, because of my love for art and artistic ability. However, having an interest in doll collecting, helped change my focus to doll restoration. I love taking an antique doll and cleaning her bisque and repairing her composition to it's formal beauty. Then I use an authentic pattern, vintage materials to sew petticoats, bloomers, and a dress...the doll comes to life! I not only restore my dolls, but for customers from all over Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Virginia. Recently, I have taken over the doll selling buiness from my mother, Marcia Meyer, founder, M&R Antique Dolls. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in November 2006 and the cancer has spread to her liver. Marcia A. Meyer lost her fight with cancer March 31, 2009. I will be doing the doll show ciruit starting in April 2007 with a new partner, Beth Karp. Our new business name is 2BethsDolls Antique Dolls. You will find us in Columbus, OH, Evansville, IN, Gaithersburg, MD, Naples, FL, and beyond our horizon. We are having fun and loving every minute of our new collaboration.

A Member of the UFDCI have been a member of the UFDC. The UFDC stands for the United Federation of Doll Clubs. I belong to a small doll club called, Western Hills Doll Club, founded by Vi Sands and a larger club, called Triple Crown Doll Club. Both clubs feed my passion for dolls! The smaller club is in Cincinnati, OH (region 8) and the larger club is in Northern Kentucky(region 12). If you would like to learn more about the UFDC...you can visit their website at; www.ufdc.org. Triple Crown does host a grand doll show and sale every September. I am the Doll Show Chairman and would gladly give you more information about our upcoming show and sale. ( September 12, 2010)
